Successfully passed 70-291 yesterday with 826 / 1000

used CBT nuggets, Pass4Sure practise exams, MS Press.

Suggest if you are taking this to get to know DNS, RRAS, WSUS and DHCP pretty well. Good knowledge of IP configuration (subnetting etc) will help as well.

My exam had 48 questions, one of which was a sim, a couple of drag and drops and the rest multiple choice. Was given 160 minutes for the exam.

Congrats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am preparing for 70-291.

Guys, I have a questions. What are the requirements for MCSA 2003. I passed 70-270 and 70-290 and I am also certified MCSE NT 4.0. People keep telling me you need to pass 70-291 exam only to get MCSA in 2003. But I comfuse and not sure.

Please help me I would like to pass this exam quickly ASAP.

This is correct. Although NT 4.0 certifications are long discontinued, you can apply an MCSE 4.0 credential as "elective exam" towards MCSA 2003. So in your case, basically all you'll need to earn it is exam 70-291 (although personally I would select another more up-to-date MS product to focus my specialization on and then choose it as elective...but it's your choice of course).

good luck & regards,
Charger

What's up everyone? Wanted to jump in here cuz I'm right in the same boat with everyone here on the 70-291. I have been using Preplogic to get ready. No complaints so far. I'm hoping to take the exam soon. I am a slow learner though, it takes me a while to prepare for stuff. I'll get there!

Just take 70-291 and then Upgrade your MCSA 2003 by 70-648 (which credits you two MCTS 70-640 and 70-642) and the continue for MCITP credentials
