My router connected to a PC. Both are using addresses from 192.168.1.0/24

The interface state is up/up but I can't ping the PC.

Debug says Encapsulation failed.Any suggestion?

Thanks.

hi,

This is a very easy problem,you have konw the problem point,that is the encapsulation wrong,

there are two types encapsulation 802.1q and ISL,you just change the encapsulation type in interface state.

the command is: for example
////
interface s0/1
encapsulation isl
///
that is ok!
