I am very new to the cisco world as far as DHCP services goes,
I am used to using Windows 2003 server for its services but being this is a different network enviroment, I am still learning as I go.
I have a layer 3 switch providing DHCP services to
Lease Obtained. . . . . . . . . . : Monday, February 20, 2012 9:01:28 AM
Lease Expires . . . . . . . . . . : Wednesday, February 22, 2012 9:01:27 AM
ip dhcp pool CORPLAN
network 192.168.5.0 255.255.255.0
ip dhcp pool HRBuilding
network 192.168.3.0 255.255.255.0
ip dhcp pool SHIPPING
network 192.168.1.0 255.255.255.0
every 2-3 days
we have to use the commands
Clear ip dhcp conflict*
Clear ip dhcp bindings*
we have ICMP enabled
and some static IP's on each subnet.
Nodes on each subnet
open source IP phones,
not using VLANS all devices on the same subnet
I wouldnt mind doing VLAN's but not sure since the network is a
Hybird of different layer 2 switches (3comm,Linksys, cisco , Dell)
being diasy chained thru copper\fuber
what would be a good solution to fix these issues?
