Hello,

I have a strange problem. All 100 machines in my network are going to sleep mode when left idle for 5 mins and network getting disconnected for them.

We have group policies implemented for wallpaper and other policies but not for power management, when we check the power management policies every policy is under "not defined" status.

can you please suggest a solution for this issue.

My DC operating system is windows 2008 R2

Thanks,
Mandark

Sorry I don't have a definitive answer, but I have not noticed this behavior because of media center.

Mine starting showing a log on page, but I had forgotten I had changed the power plan, and the new one did still show a password to get back in.

What you seem to be describing is a Screen saver lock, have you checked that? Right click desktop, Personalize, screen saver. Then look for the check box "On resume display logon screen"...
