Hi,

 

Please help me to confiugre NTP Serever-client mode on cisco router with time zone. How to configue ntp servers and how to make router as a master for all other network devices.

clock timezone GMT

 

ntp master 1

 

clients:

 

ntp server x.x.x.x pref

Hi VETERANS,

After configuring NTP server i m getting this output when checking ntp associations.. not getting synchronized with Global ntp server. Even i m able to ping global ntp server from my router.

 

 

#sh ntp associations

  address         ref clock       st   when   poll reach  delay  offset   disp
*~127.127.1.1     .LOCL.           4      6     16   377  0.000   0.000  0.241
 ~67.215.65.132   .INIT.          16      -     64     0  0.000   0.000 16000.
 * sys.peer, # selected, + candidate, - outlyer, x falseticker, ~ configured
 

Any help will be appericiated....
