  1. Hi, I was asked if it is possible to have 2 CME routers, one acting as main CME router and the other as SRST CME if the main one (which is CME) fails (Hot/Active Standby). If so, how as if I can't find any documentation that supports that question. Thanks,
  2. thanks a million! Cheers!
  3. wow, thanks for your analysis of the debug, i truly appreciate your time to look at it.. i have configured the lines to be dual lines and it seems i can dial out using the two lines i think that fixed it thankssssssss!

  6. Dear Guys, Thank you for your replies. Is there a particular way to do the BACD. I'm familliar with Unity Express but never had that BACD experience really. any hints? Thanks again,
  7. Hi, I have an issue internally. Say ephone 1 and ephone 2 are talking to each other and ephone 3 calls ephone 1 or 2, he just hears normal ringning tone, but wouldn't know that either of these guys are busy and he's on Call Waiting. Is it possible he hears a BEEP or TONE that he is being on Call waiting???? WITHOUT disabling the call-waiting feature. Thank you,
  8. Hi Guys, Im setting up a new system, we are moving away from Nortel Key System with 2outgoing lines and 4 incoming. So far with the old system, we can view if either of the two lines are used or not, and then decided to use either of them to call. and each staff has an extension of course. how can i do the same if with a 7945 (two line button phone) and thus see if either of the lines are occupied. currently, i have set it as PABX mode, which means, the lines go to IVR and then get diverted based on the extension/dept. sounds good, but not until a staff wants to use the line and another one is already on a conversation , therefore, its cumbersome and very irritating to keep redialing, knowing that all the lines are busy! and how to see if both lines are occupied to not keep dialing aimlessly. thankssss
  9. Hi, There is something similar called Extension Assigner and it should be configured from the CallManager to be able to do so on the sets. Refer to the the Admin Manual for further details. Thanks
  10. Hi Guys, I dont know if its bug or mis configuration. Ican't seem to add more than 1 phone directory number to be watched? Any idea why? Find below config of the Receptionist phone that is 7961 with addon module. ephone 1 no phone-ui speeddial-fastdial no phone-ui snr no multicast-moh device-security-mode none mac-address 0099.55XB.XXXX presence call-list type 7961 addon 1 7914 button 1:1 2:4 3:5 4:6 button 7w11 I keep trying to add more directory numbers to be "Watched" but it wont work. All Ephone-DN are "Allow Watch" And just speaking of which, i cant make blf-speed-dial to show the "Activity" of the phone.. it just shows as normal speeddial list number! Thanks,
  11. Thanks guys for your input, so i guess it is possible. Ill try to get a device and see if i can make it run on SIP. is SCCP & SIP phones do-able on the same device?
  12. Hi, Thinking out of the box. Is it possible to mix Cisco IP Phones (sccp) and Avaya Phones on the same CCME Router 28xx? Would it require a special config or firmware?? Has anyone tried it? I cant find documentation on that. Thanks
