  2. i guess create an access list to allow only VPNs and block the rest then apply access-class to the user you create
  3. No DR and BDR required on non broadcast P2p links there is no need to have DR-BDR because each link is Point to Point. while on a Broadcast and other WAN Multi-access frame relays we need DR-BDR routers in order to avoid extra flooding of PDUs on the network, keeping in mind that OSPF packet has a TTL of 1.
  4. could be but not a good design. if you are in one Autonomous Network. Try changing Scheme of IP Subnets. if Autonomous Network falls under different premises, then follow what Mark said.
  5. This is not an error It is requirement, you must enter the username and password of remote computer which you want to logon to over the network

  8. you need alot of Hands on Practice. Try to find some Job. even internship would be great. I would even pay to get hands on experience.
  9. Tunnel exists, must be a duplicate SCCRQ any workaround for this type of situation ?
  10. have played with timeout settings retransmission settings (hardcoded same on both sides but everything seems to go wrong)

  12. it is considered as best practice to prepare the newcomer switch as VTP client and set the necessary domain/password before joining or cabling into the production network. also try to disable DTP on all ports to avoid unnecessary trunk negotiation.
  13. Route Redistribution might be the solution on your ABRS 1. LAbel the incoming Routes 2. Redistribute it into OSPF
  14. Have done Integration of Cisco Unity Connection Messaging System with Call Manager Express (router) and Outlook 1. Users can send Voicemails. 2. Voice mail will be relayed to Outlook Mail. where users can see and download their voicemail messages from anyplace 3. Fixed Caller ID issues in CUC and in CME router (because of my country's TELCO settings were hard to find). Users can see who called and from what number they called. I know this is basic stuff but i am really novice in voice over IP. If anyone needs help regarding this i can write a step by step post.
  15. What Systems do you have? The simple answer to your question is VPN. if you have microsoft Server. You need to configure Routing and Remote access Server and enable incoming PPTP ports and a username and password to allow incoming connection permission. you can also configure username and an incoming connection without RRAS server. You need to go to Create New Connection\Choose Advanced Connections\ Incoming Connection\ And choose the username of local computer that is permissible to connect remotely. In addition to that you need to forward the PPTP port on your ADSL Router in Office which is 1702. Alternatively If you are using a Cisco Router. you need plenty of configurations on it. 1. Incoming PPTP connection. 2. RRAS Server Authentication or Local Router User authentication. 3. Cloning Virtual-template interface. 4. DHCP scope definition. 5. Correct encapsulations and encryption parameters. 6. Routing if required.
