  1. This is great to hear, guys! Great congrats to all of you! Cheers, Charger
  2. Hi there! First of all, you can still become MCSA with the exams you have already passed. However, this is the old 2003 track and considering the fact that a new Server will be released next year (meaning that even Server 2008 will be outdated soon), I would strongly advise to upgrade as soon as you have passed MCSA. There is no need to complete an MCSE nowadays. SCCM 2012 will also be released soon as far as I know. So there is a big possibility that one or more related exams will also be released. However, you can select the equivalent SCCM 2007 exam 70-401 for your MCSA track as an elective choice. In addition, I recommend taking exam 70-680 (Windows 7 Configuring) as your client core exam. Makes no sense to choose XP or Windows Vista instead ^^ So your MCSA track might look like this: 70-680, 70-290, 70-291 and 70-401 As soon as you've reached MCSA, I would strongly suggest to take an upgrade path to 2008 - in that case taking upgrade exam 70-648. Might even be a possible way to wait for the new Server related exams that will surely be released next year. There is a chance that you will might even be able to upgrade by then and therefore skipping upgrading to 2008. But that's just an assumption. Good luck & regards, Charger
  3. Hi there & congrats for having passed this exam. As for your question... Since you have already passed the necessary elective exam 70-680, you still need the following exams to reach the MCITP Enterprise Administrator credential: 70-640, 70-642, 70,643 and 70-647. regards & good luck! Charger
  4. Hi there! In your case exam 70-620 automatically counts as client core exam for your MCSA/MCSE credential, since you've selected exam 70-284 as your elective. In addition, exam 70-620 also automatically counts as client core elective for your MCITP Enterprise Administrator credential. So you need not worry, since everything is fine on that part. However, some Prometric testing centers often experience delays regarding updating test results with Microsoft. This usually results in belated updates of candidate transcripts. I would recommend calling your RSC (Microsoft Regional Service Center) regarding this issue if this problem is not solved within the next few days. kind regards, Charger
  5. Hi there! You know, if you had asked me this question about a year ago, I would have told you that going for exam 70-680 is a great idea, since it is also the base for a lot of other certifications like MCITP:EA, MCITP:DA, MCITP:DST7. It can even be selected as either client exam or elective exam for an MCSA/MCSE credential. However, with Microsoft releasing new and completely different operating systems almost every 2 years, it is hard to tell if going for an "old" client exam is still a bright idea. "Windows 8" is coming soon... mainly focusing on tablet features with a totally new GUI...most users won't even be able to update their OS because of the UEFI requirements. And you know what that means... there will be a high demand on professionals who are already familiar with those new features as soon as this new client OS is released to the public. This also automatically results in the release of new exams, like it is common practice with Microsoft. This is what i call "stucking in a vicious circle". If you want to be an IT pro specialized in MS products, you have to stay always up-to-date with your certifications in order to stay competitive on the IT market. regards, Charger
