  1. Hi I am using CUCM 9.1 and configured SAF between CUCM Cluster and CMEs. All CMEs are learning the patterns and inter calls are successfully made. CUCM side, SAF forwarder is learning the patterns also advertising. But I cannot see any learned pattern in RTMT. I am receiving an Error while checking both SAF learned Patterns and SAF Forwarders. Error Message is " An Error Occured While processing". What may be the reason and how can i resolve it?
  2. Thanks for your reply

  5. Thanks for your response martinlo. Do you mean If I have 100 Users and 100 PCs in my network, and If I install Windows 2008 Server and Exchange 2013 , will all users be able to access the services without any interruption even if I didnt purchase Client Access License? Then why Microsoft need we purchase CAL ?
  6. I have a requirement to set up new Windows 2008 Domain and Exchange 2013 Servers. We will have around 100 Users. I have ordered for HP G8 Server. My doubt is related to Microsoft Licensing. Should I purchase Device licensing or User Lilcensing. How it differs. I worked in AD environment but I didnt setup anything new. So I am really not aware of the licensing of Microsoft product. When I buy Windows 2008 and Exchange 2013 license will come along with that or Do we need to buy separate. Please help

  9. Hi Friends, As I posted last time, I have a Cisco 4500 Series Line card with me. Unfortunately I ordered for wrong product which is not supported by our supervisor engine. Now I want to sell it. How can I do it. Is there any option to do that? WS-X4648-RJ45-E this is the part number of the product.
  10. Thanks for advise. I am consulting with our provider. But I already open the box and tried it with my switch.
  11. We bought a Cisco line card WS-X4648-RJ45-E for Cisco 4507 R-E. Later on I found that this module is not working with the chassis becuase supervisor engine 4 we are using. Supervisor Engine 6 is required for WS-X4648-RJ45-E. Now I want to go for WS-X4548-RJ45. Is it possible to return the line card? Is there any possible way to exchange? I am responsible for the mistake. I dont know what to do. By the way, I am from Saudi Arabia
  12. Chrcel, Thanks for your input
  13. Hi Friends, I recently completed my Vmware V Sphere Training and about to attend online exam to get certified. At present I hold CCNP certificate and doing CCNP-Voice Certification too. Will it help me in my career having Certification in Virttualization with Networking certiciations, or do you think it is mere time waste of having a certification from another domain. Previously i was holding MCSE and i have hands on experience in Microsoft side too. Now my career path is in networking side. Is there any importance in cross domain expertise? Please share your opinions Thanks
  14. Hi, Can anyone clarify my doubt. 1. RTP traffic will flow between endpoints (IP Phones) if they are registerd with same CUCM and CUCME 2. RTP traffic will flow between endpoints if our design is distributed multisite with CUCM with intercluster or H.323 trunk 3. How RTP traffic will flow if i connect two CMEs with H323 gatekeeper? 4. How RTP traffic will flow if I connect one CME with CUCM with H.323 gatekeeper. Thanks.
  15. Dear All, I have intercluster trunk (Non-Gatekeeper Controlled) configured in between CUCM 7.1 and Call Manager Express. It works fine. But I found that voice traffic not flowing directly between the IP Phones. Is it normal? As far as I know, Once the call is established voice traffic should flow directly in between end points. But here I could see in our management software that RTP traffic is between CUCM and CME. I experience some quality issue because of this, because some of my CME registered phones are on different site than where CME sit.
