    Inter-vlan routing

This basically makes the router a switch, but if I want to use the router for VPN or routing to other destination , things get complicated. The idee with bridging is nice, I can assign small subnets on each side and would work.Someone tolld me about VRF, has anyone some knowledge or documentation about this? Thank you

I thought i can pass a vlan through the router but with no luck and raise vlan interface on both switches but with no luck If someone can explain it would be great Thank you

    Routing issue

I managed to make all the routers to see each other, I deconfigurate RIPv2 from the border router, and between the border router and the last router from RIPv2 topology I added a default route, is not quite scalable but it works. @talent pk : can you tell me what is about distribute list ? Thank you

    Routing issue

Hi, I am trying to redistribute a routing protocol in another routing protocol, RIPv2 in EIGRP or OSPF. I have a network with a lot of routers which a splitted in 3 subnetworks, in every subnetwork I am running a different routing protocol, RIPv2, EIGRP and OSPF. Now I have a router conected to all the 3 subnetworks, on this router I am running all the 3 routing protocols. Now I am trying to make all the routers in the big network to see eachother.I managed to redistribute OSPF in EIGRP and now I have a ping and route between the 2 subnetworks with OSPF and EIGRP but I don't manage to redistribute RIPv2 in EIGRP. If anyone have some ideas please let me know, thanks I have also atached the simulation in PT

    Vlan question

Ok, I will do that, the ports where switches are connected are set in mode trunk so all vlans can be carried further.

    Vlan question

Hi, All the ports from L3 Switch and L2 switches are in trunk and allowed vlans 1,2,3,4.The port of the switch where the laptop is connected is in access. On the switch1 between the laptop and the L3 switch i didn't configure anything because i don't need. Also all the management ip's are from the ip class raised on vlan1. 10q

    Vlan question

No problem,so it is like this: I have a layer 3 switch with 4 vlans, 1,2,3,4, on every vlan I raised a class of ip's /24. In port 2 of the layer 3 switch I connected switch1 , which is a layer 2 switch, and in this switch i connected a laptop, this switch has no ip assigned for management. In port 1 of the layer 3 switch I connected switch2, which is a layer 2 switch. To switch2 I assigned an ip from vlan1 for management purpose. In switch2 I connected switch3, which is a layer 2 switch. To switch3 I assigned an ip from vlan1 for management purpose. In port 3 of the layer 3 switch I connected switch4, which is a layer 2 switch. To switch4 I assigned an ip from vlan 1 for management purpose. To the laptop I assigned an Ip from vlan 1. Now the problem is that I can't ping from the laptop any layer 2 switch. Hope this is clear and someone can help me. 10q
