  1. Check for any fans inside your system, including the power supply,and make your pc restart on his own,and that are moving slowly or not at all. Also try each ram stick one at a time in dimm slot one and see if the problem goes away. Heat issue also, ram, or motherboard. The heat issue could also include the power supply.   2. See if it apperas in Disk Management in Computer Management. If it shows up then try reformatting it using FAT (not FAT 32) using Disk Management (which is found under Computer Management in Control Panel under Administrative Tools). Just make sure you don't reformat your Hard Drive. If it dowsn't show up then go to the manufacturers website and see if they have a driver or similar that will allow windows to see it.   4. I recommend that you reinstall your usb drive.Simply put in the cd or floppy disk it came with and run it.Its probably just a malfunction.Or do a system restore on your computer.It will restore your computer to an earlier time.Start/All Programs/System Tools.
  5. if it is front usb check if it is properly connected . Try to enable /disable usb in bios save settings and exit. Try to uninstall usb from device manager and wait them install again. Try just update driver form device manager( i saw a guy making a usb mouse recognized and working just update driver from device manager) Try reinstall your chipset driver or get the newest one. http://www.techyv.com
