Default Gateway On Switch

Recommended Posts

Hi,

i use 3640 router in GNS3 with switch module and want to ping another subnet from that switch, but it seems that default-gateway command on switch (which is router with switch module) is not working.

Subnet masks are /24

10.0.2.15 -> 10.0.4.2 pings

10.0.2.5 -> 10.0.4.2 not

you must disable routing with no ip routing command if you want to use ip default-gateway , or you can use ip route 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 next-hop
