Today i was just making my breakfast and when come back to my room i saw a big cat was sleeping on my bed, in the 1st moment i thought it is not mine room but it is her room(for which she is paying me a big $$$$$hit), this is not a single story, there are dozen of stories like that^^.
For example i also have few hen's in my home and last month i bought a cute black color hen(immature), in the first whole week a cat did enough try to caught her considering as a Bar-B-Q but most of the time i jumped and saved my hen's life. Few years later 2 cats have been eaten my all immature hens+ more then 30 precious chicks just in 1 month :( due to the fact that i was busy in my college exams. Basically i can not do anything due to a religious restriction specially only for cats ie cats should be deal so polity and no matter how much loss we face so if there is really a need to hit then can throw some light balls (made of pure cotton) towards them i mean no any stone etc.

Anyway did any of you face such^^ type of situations or can help to figure out a permanent solution for these idiot cats? thanks.

Faisal.

Clear plastic bottles "2l coke bottles" half filled with water, the sunlight reflects of the water within the bottle and totally freaks out any cats.

Worth a try

Get hold off a Sawn off shot gun, walk back 5 paces, Aim->Fire. Then blow the end of the barrel like they do in the movies and walkway. They won't bother you after that.

@talent pk, because of its huge size i am sure it was a M cat and the surprising thing is that yesterday i was forgotten to lock my room and when i returned to home at night, the same cat was sleeping again on my bed as was sleeping in the morning........!!!!ahhhhhhh do not know what is the point of attraction only in my bed?hehe :P

Hmms nice idea :) you mean i should try to give them a real fear of death.......i am thinking to catch a cat and then put in the store for few days so when i will release then apparently she will not try to again enter in the house..

Do you have any friend who owns a dog? maybe barrow the dog for a week or so.

Or better yet, play a recording of a barking dog.

faisal; i doubt that you live at home or farm house !!!

Just putting water on cats can do nothing, may be he come back to you whenever he is in mood of taking shower :) If you can't harm the cats then there's nothing you can get rig of it !!! Just tolerate.

Anyhow i must appreciate your patience level, if i were in you place and found a cat sleeping on my bed, i would have adapted the same method as listed by chancesD. Because i HATE CATS.

Some African countries including Egypt and some asian countries - Cats are considered holy. I say holy sh*t. I remember my mom telling me not to beat the crap out of my cat :D. Black cats are considered a bad omen though. Enough back ground history on that.

Now to get rid of a single cat is easy, a locality full of cats is a tough deal reason they would keep coming back. Just keep doors closed behind your back. All you need to do is terriorize the cat. You might be known as a Cat Killer may be even a Serial Cat Killer :D :D :D. How to terriorize them - Simple, keep a bamboo stick or a similar wooden staff handy. Back of the door is the best place.

Every time you see one just full swing at the cat's back or the spinal chord area, should scare the sh*t out of the cats. Make it a regular habit you would see cats turning there way. This is more of a psychological attack :D :D :D. Trust me this is the best way to deal with a full gang of cats.

Yeah, well how can I forget that. Yes cats are really scared of dogs and vice versa as well. These days however, its not so much of rivalry - Cats and Dogs have mutually accepted there co-existence in the human society :D They know they have a bigger enemy with Faisal coming into the picture :P

Cat's, dog's or any other of god's creatures are not on earth for anyone to abuse. Live and let live!! as there are methods to remove pests without resorting to violence.

I must agree with rsarceno & Shotokan on the dog idea because i already have been tried few years ago and considered 100% working but my father don't allow me for this because of its ugly noise spread in the whole street plus some other internal reasons...
As per "mark's scientific idea" I put 2 big bottles in the main ways of cats and let see it will work or not...

============

They know they have a bigger enemy with Faisal coming into the picture :P

LOL i am not their enemy but i do not like to share my bed cz it is only for my future wife, thanks GOD i am single yet other wise you know a wife plus a cat on the same bed :D .......

I live in a house :), well i know what you meant to say that in cities the hens are not consider a good choice as a pet.So apparently you are right because my whole family don't like my these hobbies, like i spent many years with pigeons and Australian parrots ...but now i have only hens which spent all the day in a "parallel lonely plot" and enter in my house only for spending night, So i made a separate little home for all hens and my family do not much suffer with my hens... .....i hope its now cleared..

Same thoughts ^^.... well this is not only a problem with me but I've been seen many houses specially in congested areas where cats enter in the house only for searching foods etc, mostly at mid night timing. So this is not a solution to kill all these cats or other god's creatures....

fill an aluminum soda or beer can with about 50 small coins or nails/screws. then tape off the opening and shake it when the cats are near. they hate that sound.

I liked this word => Gang Bang! hehehe :D

Anyway folks thanks your all fruitful suggestions :) and the above ^^ solution plus Mark's bottle idea was very helpful and almost solved the issue. Now i did not see yet any cat on daily basis like it was happening before so apparently it was my fault to gave them enough relaxation in the past.....

The story continuous....

Couple of weeks ago i bought 2 baby rabbits and mostly i spends my times with them. They were even freely allow to go in kitchen and bedrooms. Last night i decided to shift the cage from tv lounge to outside near stairs and then with in 2 hours i heard a loud voice of rabbit and quickly when i reached i found only one in the cage. About the other i am pretty sure a damned cat ate it. In fact i left a tiny 1 inch width space at the back side of cage because i thought that rabbits can not come outside and cats can not enter in the 1 inch width space but sadly it happened. The most panic thing is that the remaining rabbit now acting like a sad and did not eating properly. My mum took my class and ordered that give this rabbit to somebody and next time we do not wants to see any rabbit in the home. So what should i do?

Here the right side rabbit is stole by cat ==>

That is indeed a good technical solution, i will try it if i gets chance. In our previous home i used mark idea of water bottles plus water gun etc and it helped a lot. Now we are in new home so i think i need to again become active.

Usually they kill it but won't eat as long as they are domestic cats or had something to eat, it is all bound to their instinct.

Had a similar problem when used to live in Rome with the cats that were wondering around the garden the new born rabbits, they killed them out of instinct but did not eat them as they already had food from us.

Best of luck with your prob Faisal :)

Cheers Lethe.

Interesting. Whenever my cat sees a bird he runs away to hide :) Luckily we on 5th floor so not much competition from anything else, but the birds.

Here in our country people rarely consider cat as a pet so almost all cats are strange@outsiders. These cats visit homes or garbage to find food. That was indeed a male cat who ate my rabbit because at that night after almost an hour a male cat again came in my home for eating the other rabbit. Yes i have not seen with my eyes here but I heard that male cats are too stupid that even eat the male kitten.

My rabbit is getting sad and lazy, also i was in village in last few days and now when came back i see that he is not properly moving his one foot. Do not know what happened. I just decided to free him outside of city in a jungle area.
