Hi Saket,

I follow the step by step

(configure in GNS3-0.7-win32-all-in-one(latest version not GNS3-0.7RC1-win32-all-in-one)

Edit --> Preference --> Qemu --> ASA

Initrd --> asa.gz (Its unpacked file)

Kernel -- > vmlinuz

kernel cmd Line --> auto console=ttyS0,9600 bigphysarea=16384 ide1=noprobe

Its working perfect..

Thank you

The video is great! Everything works fine now. However, when I try to save my configs, I get not enough disk space. Then I check the disk0 space and it is 0.

Has anyone solved this problem yet? It is like the disk0 is mounted but with no available disk space.

dear SAKET,

first of all let me thank you very much for the efforts you are holding up.

i have test your recomendation, but unforunatelly, it did not work at all (at least with me :( )

my ASA status is as follows:

- it can be started.

- i can change the Interface status (e.g. no sh, IP Address ,etc ...)

- but i can not save my configuration because of the Zero space on ASA Flash (should be 256MB). please see the figure below.

- something else, when i use an IP (e.g. 10.0.0.1) for e0 and try to ping my phisycal network (the cloude), i just cant. although, the run-config shows that e0 IP is 10.0.0.1. i have test the same scenario with a router with 100% working fine.

please ........ help me. :)

any prob let me know

thanks very much for responding. i have tried the above seggustion with no luck. sorry for that.

just to let you know, am using the following:

- Win7 ultimate

- VMware machine with XP sp2 installed on that VM.

- GNS3-0.7.1-win32-all-in-one installed on XP.

- using the ASA image you gave to me above and the same vmlinuz (refering to first of this thread), with no changes at all as you told me.

unfortunately, the same error appears "%Error copying system:/running-config (Not enough space on device)" when trying to save the conf. to /.private/running-config path.

anyway, please explain the following error that i've got while the ASA starts.

"

Freeing unused kernel memory: 116k freed

mount: Mounting /dev/hda1 on /mnt/disk0 failed: No such device or address

mount: Mounting /dev/hda1 on /mnt/disk0 failed: No such device or address

"

it seems that the image is trying to mount /hda1 on /disk0 to create that file on disk0 with no luck, is it related to our case here.

please compare my specs with yours to see if there any differnces. and please can you be sure of mounting issue on your working ASA, does it generate error while mounting or not. that may help us out.

again my dear ...... thanks alot for your help and support. :)

i cant ping too, although, the running-configuration of ASA interdace is assigned correctly. can you please specify what ASA image and kernel you used. and can you save your configuration on the /.private file?.
