2008 RRAS question

Recommended Posts

So this is a real life situation not a testing question.

Suppose you have a 2008 server running rras for remote users to log in to the network from home. There is no NAP, IAS or Radius server set up or a logging server what so ever on the network. The users are creating a VPN connection on there PC from the network connections screen on their XP machines.

So if a end users connects to RRAS, they are handed a private IP on the companies network. Does the users public IP from their ISP get recorded some how on the 2008 RRAS server?

Thanks in advance
