I installed oracle 10 g . At the end ,when in browser http://alam-pc...,user name and password screen appers.But when i installed ,theis user name n login to database did not appear .Rather i recieve the message "Network error.(DNS-unresolved_hostname)Your request could not be resloved by DNS"So can you please help me in solving this error?

did u check host file? Check entry in host file.

I have not installed Oracle 10g yet. As you have written that the host name is not resolved by DNS. Then I think that you did not provide proper host name while it was asking during the installation. So such kind of error occurred. I would like to suggest you to uninstall it and re-install it. I came across such kind of problem when I was installing it. I uninstalled it and reinstalled it. My problem solved at that time.

exactly most of the times there will be small problems while installation which we will not know
So if you can uninstall completely and install again your problem might get resolved.

I just installed Oracle 10g using Windows XP.I am able to login. When I am at the EM home page, I have the following error message!!! java.lang.Exception: Exception in sending Request :: null

Can someone help?
