I like Nokia's and have an E71 so I am pretty much stuck with symbian, its stable and does what it says on the tin and I have only had to reboot it once in 10 months of usage.

I suggest you try Apple's thing and if not at least Android. Nowadays Nokia is not even half of what used to be, so if you seek top applications and also stability Nokia can't be the 1st choice (I am using Nokia for about 6 years now, but I will make "the move" close to my birthday this year).

I am using Android. but iOS still has a better UI, but that is a matter of implementation. Symbian is dead with Nokia only going forward with Meebo on smartphones. For dumbphones symbian is still best.

I have a lumia 800 now and so far its been quite good, battery life is a bit low? You have to be careful about roaming data charges when in other countries as it has features that use your data connection without letting you know!!

I have a Nokia Lumia 710 and it is a great phone. The battery life could be better but I have no other issues with it. By the way I am developing an own app for Windows Phone 7 (it will be based on the followings: http://www.voip-sip-...tform-voip.html). I also tried phones with Android OS but the thing I did not like about them is that somethimes they can be really slow. Window Phone 7 OS runs smoothly.

In periods of graphic: Mac OS is best but only if you have a 128 bit or higher processor other shrewd Windows is very simple to use & realise & troubleshoot but still unstable & exorbitant and also you have to purchase an antivirus, MS phrase etc.
