I usually don't see T.V but today match between India and England was really very interesting. No doubt this time India has a good team and still their little master ( sachin tendulkar ) is playing for the team and he is in full form, i liked the way he plays :).

Anyway since from last few years my favourite team was Australia but now this time i am going to vote for South Africa.
Reason because in every world cup they deserve for win but the major problem with them is only and only hard luck, which this team has faced in the World Cup history is unparalleled by any other team.

South Africa, wish you very best luck for ICC world-cup 2011.

It is a bit sad to see that Australia is out after 12 years of non-stop victory in the game of world-cup. Really appreciate the spirit of "Brett Lee" who got injury on eyebrow with full of blood on face but quickly came for bowling after few minutes..

The most interesting and thrilling match of this world-cup 2011 would be upcoming semi-final (Pak vs India)scheduled at 30th March in Mohali.

I played many years cricket and according to the best of my knowledge both teams looks like equal as both now been beat Australia. Apparently the Indian team is in a better position that they have tendulkar. I must say that there are only few persons in the history of cricket like Brian Lara, Imran khan, Tendulkar etc who touched the limits of popularity.

Good luck to both teams for semi-final..

Indian team is always looking good on paper because most of them are individual player, not team player.

Munaf Patel was playing as strike bowler and bowling with speed of 115 KMPH while Australian pacer bowling above 140 KMPH.

Indian cannot defend 339 and their 9 batsman can go pack to pavilion within 29 runs.

IPL spoiled the whole Cricket.

Cricket is no longer a gentlemen's game as it used to be. IPL has ruined it all.

What I can assure everyone at Sadikhov -

This match is the grand father of all the matches played ever.

You wouldn't believe many government offices have declared half day at work. As a matter of fact some private offices have given an off that day.

It will be like a bloody curfew. Black out.

Honestly in the favor of peace - I think if it is a draw there can be some peace.
Else I expect a lot of bloodshed and violence, since the game becomes too personal and it becomes a matter of pride for many people.

BTW! I don't watch cricket - It's a bloody waste of time :D

I am seconded on BQBD, not only both nations but most of the players in both teams has lack of attitude as well.

See this ==>

Is it cricket or circus? not sure if there were some springs under his shoes?

I think most of the world do not know that what would happen during and after this India vs Pak match?

Indian gov is going to deploy thousands of commandos in the match perhaps i really doubt if the situation would be under control. See if by chance the Indian team will start fall then the crowd will throw bottles, fruit and blah blah in the ground. Hmmm trying to recall my school days memory, i know a same kind of ICC semi final between India and Srilanka back in 1996 world cup ==> http://www.espncrici...atch/65190.html

At the fall of the 8th Indian wicket, sections of the crowd vented their disgust with the state of the match by setting fire to some areas of the stands and throwing fruit and waterbottles onto the field. The match was briefly stopped and when play was about to resume, the crowd again threw bottles at the deep fielders. The match referee stopped the game and the game was awarded to Sri Lanka by default.

The crazy/extremer people will try to broken the homes of the players @ loser team, So the families@players in both Pakistan and India are on high risk.

The crazy/extremer people will throw eggs and blah blah on the Airports for warm-welcome of loser team.

hmmmm

Media is going to cash this match. After every single hour they are announcing that how many hours been left for the match and creating a lot of tension in both countries. We know some people will break their TVs, some people will even die due to heart-attack, it been happened here in our town.

Both gov and respected presidents/PMs are also going to cash this match and making fool to the both nations, perhaps we all better know that current politicians did not and can not do anything positive, just trying to save their seats.

The stadium officials are also going to cash this match and trying to sell tickets in black. Hell, i just saw in news that the price of 1 ticket = 100000.

IMHO the main responsibility is on media, every mature person should try to educate the others by elctronic/paper media that cricket is just a cricket so one team must be lose, it is natural so must be wisely accept.

I am fully disagree with almost .2 billions people in Pakistan and more than 1 billion people in India, because they both are trying to insist their respective teams that do not win the final but just win the semi final.

Last but not least cricket was invented by west just for fun, but in the east now it is going to turn in a war.

All we can do is to pray that May GOD bless on them. Ameen.

Same thinking of Pakistanis guy's and gals here, I found them always curious about Indian's celebrities specially katrina :P..

Btw the day before judgment day, few of my friends really got angry with me when i told them that India has few world class batsmen like my fav Sachin and Yuvraj plus sehwag but Pakistan do not have so i will not wonder if at least one Indian batsman will make 100+

ummm
and that's the reason my fav team was S.A and still can not be Pakistani team in future as well.
I played cricket like 10 year and almost watched each and every match ages ago.. These are the facts and figures about Pakistani team.

1.Pakistani team has already lost some of the key players few months ago due to their hell negative nature ie spot-fixing case in England..

2.Pakistani team has lack of a professional wicket-keeper.

3.Pakistani team plus Pakistan Cricket Board officials always busy in internal politics and personal offences and players tend to use abuse languages to each other..

So IMHO cricket comes later, the first thing is honesty, attitude and positive thinking which the management of Pakistan Cricket Board and Pakistani Team do not care and can not follow.

If i would have to given a personal ratings of semi final match as played by both teams then i would rate them as

India ==> 10/8
Pakistan ==> 10/5

India has much potential as compared to SriLanka and i hope that they will win the world-cup. Best of luck Indian Team.

Dear Faisal,

Have you ever heard about a career in which

1) You are paid officially even you dont work ? (unfit)
2) You are paid officially even if you dont perform well throughout the year ?
3) You are paid officially/unofficially by sponsors to wear their tags ?
4) Makes you are millionare in mere 2-3 year ?
5) You are paid even more for performing well in some special circumstances ? (like worldcup or against india)
6) they are hired even they are not even matric pass or inter pass ? NOT EVEN GRADUATED ?

On the other hand, we are seeing some really talented professionals loosing their jobs and career oportunities ? more and more ppl are getting jobless ? even MBA, MBBS, CCIE doesnt matter anymore

I know its completely offtopic, but we have crossed all the limits of injustice on every level :-)

We humans are becoming more and more pathetic

Congratulations Indian Cricket team and whole nation. Once again you shown the whole world that you are not champion in IT but in Cricket too :). Marvellous Victory... Specially the last BIG DAMN SIX.. I liked those golden moments when Tendulkar was being carried on the shoulders of rest team. Hell, as expected when golden moments were started the Pakistan television suddenly disconnected the live broadcast and started adds..

Anyway lets have a Party :P...

Faisal Bhayee thank you.

I don't watch cricket :) So yesterday wasn't an exception as well. I still consider it a waste of time.

You see we people are too lazy to run for 2 hours (Football), hence we found an easier way stand and play (Cricket). You might not be surprised to have an Indian Version of Tiger Wood too.

:) Above statements are mine and MINE only - Not necessarily my countries.
