Hi,

I have started facing frequent issues with the loopback interface on the lab machine. The issue happens only intermittently and I wont be able to ping from my loopback interface to any of my GNS3 routers or my VMWare Virtual machines.Only I can ping back to the loopback IP from itself and not to any other machines even on the same subnet.

I have tried many things - disabling my personal and windows firewalls, doublechecking about the Vlan membership on the gns3 cisco switch, proper speed and duplex on cisco switch ports,enabling/disabling the loopback adapter, restarting the laptop, restarting the GNS3 devices and the VMWare machines,.But no luck. Some times it work and sometimes it doesnt. This is eating up a lot of my lab time.

I am using Windows 7 64 bit,GNS3-0.7.4,VMware Workstation

Any advice or previous experiences
