Hello friend,
GNS3 is very useful software for cisco labs practice, it works on the basis of dynamips and real router OS. But one of it's demerit is that it will use high CPU process... So you cannot run it on Low processor PC. Also it disturbs other program to run smoothly. So i found an awesome idea to reduce the CPU usage by GNS3.. You can find this trick in this link.. http://techatnet.com...ue-and-best-ios

There is a value called idle MAX, which is set to be 1500 by default.
if you lower it down to 500 or even 100 (min 10) you can get idle cpu low.
However, your routers will be slower and may not keep up with requests, so use it if you really have to and with caution.
