I am experimenting extending my VoIP network through a pair of Cisco access points configured as bridges. I have Call Manager Express running on a router and voice and data vlans set up on the switches. I can connect my 7940 phones without issue. Now I have added the bridges to the network. They are configured with the appropriate vlans and bridge groups. The bridge is carrying traffic. I added a switch on the far end in the same vtp domain. The voice and data vlans are on this switch. I can plug a pc into the switch and phone and it will receive a dhcp address from the data vlan. The phone does not get an ip address from it's vlan. I have configured a port in just the voice vlan but the phone does not get an address. What could I be missing?
