DMVPN -- dynamic multipoint VPN. It is a concept that uses GRE and IPSEC along with Cisco's proprietary NHRP (nexthop resolution protocol). It is usually used anywhere where do not want to bother with configuring full or partial mesh of tunnels between routers in hub and spoke topologies. Benefit is the lower overhead when provisioning a new spoke router.

DMVPN = MGRE + NHRP + IPsec

DMVPN use for Hub-to-Spoke and Spoke-to-spoke

By using DMVPN, the configuration load over Hub decrease , meant by small configuration on spoke site u will connect with other spoke or Hub without adding new configuration over HUb.

Hope helpful for u.
