Hello everyone,
Since the time we have deployed Symantec endpoint 11 its network threat protection feature is causing some slowness in the intial few seconds on establishing any new network connection.
For eg if I ping any network device/pc/server etc the first 2-3 pings will be somewhere between 50-70ms in a gigabit environment leading to slowness while loading any browser based application or internet. On disabling network threat component the ping work perfectly fine.
Is there a way where I can fine tune this feature to speed the initial ping response or i guess i would need to add the networks to trusted zone if that is possible.
Please suggest.

Hay... the problem resolved in my network by little change in firewall. You need to add 445 TCP port on firewall exception list. Even the file and printer sharing uses this port for allowing the network communication, you need to re-add this port.
