i think , the best than you can export information is with text file export
form sql server and import in oracle databses ,because many times
are error with the utilitys like the data export of sql server

is best use tool like the database administrator the oracle enterprise,
tahn let you import information forn sql server or acces database,

but i reccomend ,export text file an import text file into oracle because is more
stable.

Use the DTS of SQL Server.

I’m sure it’s gonna help you.

DTS is the best easy way.
You can also use linked servers to make queries against the Oracle and populate SQL with the results.

are the databases the same in both platform? you can use erwin to copy the DDL then export the data and there are a few after market tools you can use or you can use the tools in SQL2000 to export

FastReader from wisdomforce ( http://www.wisdomforce.com ) can be a right tool for you to migrate data between Oracle and SQL Server.

FastReader is a high-speed unload data from Oracle tables into flat text files and creates control files and script for load into SQL Server using bcp. FastReader supports all data types including binary, blob, clob.

Check this out
